[HANASHIR:13174] Re: Yidid Nefesh



Yes, it is sung before Kabbalat Shabbat, also at Shalos Se'udot, as a 
Bakkashah among Sephardi, before Mincha of Rosh Hashanah, and for the first 
Hakafah on Simchat Torah, but why? (the list is from Nulman's Encyclopedia of 
Jewish Prayer)
