I currently use Sonar 2.1 Many of these programs are more than you need
for simple digital recordings. In order to change pitch without changing
tempo, you would need to use digitial editing software. CoolEdit, which
started as shareware, is much less expensive than the others, and does a
credible job.

Dear Friends,

I am a technologically challenged person getting ready to make the leap
from recording bar mitzvah portions on cassettes to CDs.  Anyone out
there have advice or suggestions for recording programs and how to down
load and/or use them?  

Also, does anyone know of any programs that allow you to record your
voice and then transpose it?
