The Gerard Edery Ensemble will present the program:
A Sephardic Hanukah


This program will be presented at MAKOR on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2002. The
concert will begin at 7:00 PM. MAKOR is located at 35 West 67th Street
(between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue) www.makor.org

Commanding songs in French, Spanish, Ladino, Hebrew and Arabic, the Gerard
Edery Ensemble engages an antique repertoire of Spain's Golden Age as a
living legacy. This musical journey will include a broad repertoire of
Sephardic and original music as well as songs for Hanukah. At 9:00 PM Gerard
Edery will also guest with Sarah Aroeste and Judíos Latinos Hanukah
Celebration. Come celebrate Hanukah with these two exciting programs steeped
in the Sephardic tradition.
