[HANASHIR:12893] Re: Searching for Chanukah Song

Here are the words: 3 verses in Hebrew (translit.) and the English
translation (more or less). There is also a "ya la la" between the verses, if
you want to include that. (I generally only do it at the end, as it makes the
song VERY long.)

KEM-ACH, KEM-ACH

Kem-ach, kem-ach min ha-sak,
She-men, she-men min ha-kad,
Chanukah ha-yom,
Chag na-im nech-mad.
La la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la,
Chanukah ha-yom,
Chag na-im nech-mad.

Kem-ach, kem-ach min ha-sak,
She-men, she-men min ha-kad,
Hava n’la bev
L’vi-vot la-chag.
La la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la,
Hava n’la bev
L’vi-vot la-chag

Od nosif bei-tsa mi-sal,
Od su-kar dak v’cha-sal,
Bo-u la-shulchan
L’vi-vot no-chal.
La la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la,
Bo-u la-shulchan
L’vi-vot no-chal.

Bring the flour from the bin
Pour the oil from the tin,
Chanukah is here,
Festival so dear.
La la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la,
Chanukah is here,
Festival so dear.

Mix the flour snowy white
With the oil golden bright,
That’s how Mother makes
Chanukah pancakes.
La la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la,
That’s how Mother makes
Chanukah pancakes.

Add an egg, the batter’s done,
And some sugar, oh what fun!
Come now, take your seat,
Steaming pancakes eat!
La la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la,
Come now, take your seat,
Steaming pancakes eat!
