[HANASHIR:12817] RE: mi y'maleil (doot doot)

Debbie Friedman originally recorded "Mi Yimaleil" on one of her earliest albums
"Not By Might - Not
By Power"; it is available from Soundswrite (sans 'doot-doots') either on
cassette
(http://www.soundswrite.com/swdfrecord.html#notbymight) or on CD as part of the
"In The Beginning"
series (http://www.soundswrite.com/swdfrecord.html#inthe).
As for sheet music, you can get it either from Soundswrite or Transcontinental
Music
(http://www.uahc.org/cgi-bin/hazel/hazel.cgi?action=DETAIL&ITEM=991201) --
though I am not sure if
the 'doot-doots' are part of the arrangement.
But . . . if you want the 'doot-doots' (the version I learned as a camper at
Eisner "back in '57 or
'58" -- OK, it was during the mid '70s [and the one Eric was referring to]), I
believe it is on Kol
B'seder's first album "Shalom Rav: Kol B'seder in Concert" (Jeff, please
correct me if I am wrong)
which can be found at ARE on cassette
(http://www.arepublish.com/Kol%20B'Seder.htm).
