[HANASHIR:12804] RE: Kol Han'shamah at Chanukah Festival

Chevrei --

I'd like to echo what Eric said. I am in coming from Massachusetts to help
out, so it would be
wonderful to meet (or see again) any of you who live in the NY/NJ/LI area (or
those of you in from
out of town). If you are planning on or thinking about coming at some point
during the day, please
e-mail us privately and let us know so we know to look for you and how you can
find us. There are
sure to be vendors there as well, so you can also do some Chanukah shopping.

One of the other songs that we will be performing is a brand-new "Lo Alecha" I
have composed; I
first debuted it at the South Shore (MA) Jewish Music Festival this past Labor
Day (in the pouring
rain!) with Noam Katz. Imagine this: what if The Moody Blues and Heart
collaborated to write a
Jewish song? . . . Hopefully I will have a recorded version at some point soon.
 If you're there on
Sunday, I'd love your input.

It is always nice to put faces with name from the list. Hope to see you Sunday.

Subject: [HANASHIR:12769] Kol Han'shamah at Chanukah Festival

Chevrei -

Please indulge me in giving the following plug:

The Rockland Jewish Community Presents "We are One - A Chanukah Festival"
Field House at Rockland Community College, Suffern, NY
Sun. Nov. 17 11:00 am-5:00 pm
Admission: Adults $5.00 Children under 12 $3.00 Family Pass $18.00

Jordan Franzel's and my project Kol Han'shamah will be performing around 4:30
on the adult stage
(thanks to Steve Meltzer for grabbing his "axe" and helping out!). Among the
songs we will be
performing is the "Lo Yisa Goi" that many of you graciously requested a few
months ago, and that
Robin Selinger kindly mentioned in a recent posting.

While I'm at it ...
Kol Han'shamah will be headlining at a great fundraiser for Israeli school
children called "Raise
our Voices for Israel"
Sat. Jan. 11, 2003 at 8:00 at Temple Emanu-El, Edison, NJ.
For those of you in the New York - New Jersey area, we'd love to see you there!

Thanks!
- Eric
