that tune was originally written as a unit theme song at Oconomowoc and only 
later the Chanuakah words replaced the orignal. At least I never heard it 
from Debbie before that. After camp it seems the words to Mi Y'malal were 
inserted. I could tell you the orignal words because I was a camper in 
Chalutzim where Debbie was the songleader but I think it works so well as it, 
there's no reason to go back there. 
Jeff, I'd like to think it was around 1957, that would explain my gray hair 
but in reality  it was the summer of 1973.
