Beth-
I would add more songs and make it a full CD. Then charge up to $15.00

Subject: [HANASHIR:12731] question about CD
I am preparing to produce my first CD. It contains nine songs on it, seven of
which are original Jewish folk settings of liturgical texts. I am doing the
artwork/layout myself and seeking to duplicate the CD for as little as possible
to make my music affordable and accessible.
Question is, how much should I charge for a CD? I see CDs with 20 or more
songs on them going for a wide range of prices (10 to 25 dollars). I plan on
selling my CDs through an online source as well as at live gigs. I want to find
the right balance between my talent and sweat, and affordability for the
listener.
Those of you who've done it already: How did you figure out a selling price?
What factors did you take into account? Helpful responses appreciated.
Thanks much --Beth
