Cantor Alisa Pomerantz-Boro just released her new CD called "Modim - We Give 
Thanks" and the title track is a gorgeous Modim Anachnu Lach that she wrote.  
 The refrain is very very singable and has cantorial sections in between.   
The whole album is beautiful and is available thru Soundswrite.   It features 
a gorgeous duet of "The Prayer" with Cantor David Propis of Houston as well 
as a couple of Yiddish theatre genre duets with her singer/songwriter sister 
Raquel (that's me!)   It was produced by David Kates and Jeffrey Silverman in 
LA...
