[HANASHIR:12488] Re: Violin Arrangements

Dear Michael,

I would suggest several pieces that are not written for violin, but could be
easily adapted for such: Michael Isaacson's Bayom Hahu, Andrea Jill Higgins
has a 3 part plus flute arrangement of the South African melody of
V'shamru...would work skipping the middle voice part, also the Kingsley Yih'yu
l'ratzon can be worked to include the violin.

Good luck
Sharon Steinberg

Subject: [HANASHIR:12482] Violin Arrangements

I'm putting together a Friday night service (on the 25th!) with the following
forces:

Cantor (Baritone)
Solo Soprano
Violin
4th-5th grade Children

If anyone has any Friday-night-appropriate arrangements (either liturgy or
stand-alone) for combinations of the above (or solo violin) I'd love to hear
from you.

Thanks,

Cantor Michael Freed
