[HANASHIR:12411] RE: Locating performers

If you contact www.samglaser.com <http://www.samglaser.com/>
You will be able to reach him.
For songs through the Torah and that kind of thing, contact
www.soundswrite.com <http://www.soundswrite.com/>
And Randee Friedman can tell you about a 2-cd set that takes you through
Genesis through Exodus I believe. Not sure about the age
appropriateness but I think you'll find plenty to use and I think there
Is sheet music as well.

Subject: [HANASHIR:12408] Locating performers

I know this info. has been posted before, but the internet links I have
don't work. How can I get in touch with the Sam Glaser and Peri Smilow
to find out booking information?

Also, while I have your attention...does anyone have suggestions of
music for a program entitled: "With apologies to Mel Brooks...The Jewish
History of the World: Part 1." We are highlighting the Torah stories
only (Creation through end of Deuteronomy). This is a program in which
all different ages participate through the religious school (5 - 13 year
olds), so I need music on different levels. Also, teen graduates
usually come back to sing, and I also have musical adults from the
congregation participate as well. Again, I need music appropriate for
all different ages. Also, I need to be able to get the music in musical
notation - I do not have a song leader on guitar who can just listen to
a song on a CD and then play it. Most of the accompaniment with be by a
volunteer pianist.

If you have any new and creative ideas...please share them. Thanks!
