[HANASHIR:12409] Re: Rise & Shine

I also use "Rise & Shine" all the time in our preschool. Our Rabbi &
preschool teachers came up with the following substitutions (long before I
got to the school):

Substitute HaShem for The Lord and G-d: (example)
HaShem said to Noah, there's gonna be a floody floody...
Children of HaShem

So, rise & shine & give HaShem your glory glory (3x)
Children of HaShem

And to make the verse about the animals more accurate (since the Kosher
animals came on in groups of 7 and the non-Kosher animals in 2's):

The animals, they came on, by sevens and twosies, twosies (2x)
Elephants and Kangaroosies roosies
Children of HaShem

Using the substitutions, there's no question about who we're singing to. (at
least in this song)
