[HANASHIR:12273] Re: I Had A Little Overcoat

Hi......I have used the folk song version of "I Had An Old Coat" along with 
this folktale. The melody and words can be found on Peter and Ellen Allard's 
"Good Kid" Cd and Peter and Mary Alice Amidon's "Songs for the Singing 
Classroom." It is really neat for the kids to hear the story/see the book 
"Jewishly" and then learn the song as an American Folk Song.
