I'm going to be traveling to the south NJ/Philadelhpia area in a couple of 
weeks, and I'm wondering if any of my HN buddies can point me to a 
muscially-inclined Shabbat worship in that area.

Coupla places. In Center City Philadelphia you can try Beth Ahavah. No 
instrumentals but they LOVE to sing on Friday nights. A LOT. They're near 
Penn's landing in historic Olde City.
On Saturday morning you might try Dorshei Derech, they meet at Germantown 
Jewish Centre in Mount Airy. Another singing congregation.
