[HANASHIR:12150] RE: Ha Galshan

"HaGalshan" was recorded by Israeli artist Danny Sanderson (founder of groups
such as Gazoz and Kaveret <known in the US by some as 'Poogy'>).

There are three versions that I know of. One is on the CD "The Best Of Danny
Sanderson", and another can be found on the Kaveret/Poogy CD "In The Park --
Live Reunion" -- both of which can be found at www.jewishmusic.com. The third
version is on NFTY's "Fifty Years In The Making: 1939-1989" album (which I
believe is out of print) and was recorded by Steve Dropkin, Cantor Sue Caro, and
Leon Sher.

Subject: [HANASHIR:12144] Need a Quote, Plus Ha Galshan

I'm looking for the quote that says something like "Speak, and you pray
once; sing, and you pray twice" to use for a class. Can someone give me the
more eloquent, correct version?

And while I'm here, does anyone know where "Ha Galshan," the Israeli surfing
song (in Shireinu), might be recorded?

Many thanks,

Nell Hirsch
