[HANASHIR:11994] RE: Sept. 11

Any word out there on what other congregations may be doing on 9/11 ?
We are going to do a service on Erev 9/11. Right now I'm planning on
opening with a nigun to "Esa Enai" and somewhere during the service
incorporating "Yesh Kochavim" (Klepper/Freedlander), "Rose of December"
(Doug Cotler) and possibly "Adonai Natan Adonai L'Kach" (Cotler). Any
other ideas out there for what you'll be doing?

Lori-
Ernst Bloch's Sacred Service has a wonderful Yihyu L'ratzon. I've sung
it
in small and large groups, and it's always very effective.

Chaverim-
I'm looking for some new musical settings for Y'h'yu L'Ratzon and Sh'ma
Koleinu that would be appropriate for Yom Kippur. I have a professional
quartet so I'd love something with choral parts. Thanks you in advance
for
your help.
