[HANASHIR:11964] new Jewish music online

It does NOT have to be expensive for amateur songwriters to get their
music recorded and posted to the internet. While the sound quality is not
ideal, it's possible to record voice and guitar using only a regular PC
with a standard microphone.

The software called "Sound Recorder" comes free with Windows; it records
wav files and provides conversion to mp3 format. It's also *very* helpful
for making quick low-tech recordings when you just want to send a simple
tune to a friend via email.

You can find new music by many Hava Nashira folks online at:

  http://www.geocities.com/shireinu

Selections/links include music both by amateur songwriters and by
established professionals in the Hava Nashira community.

If you have an mp3 file of your own music that you'd like to share online,
please send it to me at selinger (at) cua(dot)edu and I'll be happy to post it
for
you.

Thanks!

-Robin
