Agreed . . . and I like to follow that with a third song that is even more
upbeat. Although it is 4/4 time, since it is in a minor key, it still
flows well.
It's called "A Good Week", and it is fantastic for younger kids, because
most of the song is "La La".
I _think_ it was written by Sally Heckelman's husband? (or brother in
law). I have no idea if it's been published or not.
The words are a simple: "A good week, a week of peace, a week filled with
happiness and joy" 2X, and then "la la la"
(I think one class of mine counted 63 "la's" !)
Chords for the words: Dm C Dm A7 | Dm C Dm A7-Dm
Chords for la la : Dm Am C Dm-A7-Dm 2x
I wish I could be of more help!! I'll sing it over the phone if anyone is
desparate!
