[HANASHIR:11860] Re: Sheva B'rachot

Not to put down anyone's favorite source, but you ALWAYS have to make sure
the text in any composition/arrangement is appropriate to a service. In a
prayer service, it usually needs to match the prayer book you are using. In
a wedding, it needs to be in sync with the couple's and the officiant's
(which may be a Rabbi, or may be you) beliefs and practice.

I love the ACC Cantor's Manual, but, for some reason, it doesn't have all of
the elements necessary to perform a wedding ceremony. It can help you fill
out the ketuba (Reform version only), but doesn't have traditional or modern
text for the ring-exchange, for instance. So, I'm adding pages. If anyone's
done this, I'd appreciate a copy (Word, Davka, PDF?) if you're willing to
share.

Thanks,

Michael
