David Wolfe is an astronaut who was on the space shuttle and mir, I 
think he has been on the international space station too. He is 
Jewish and from Indiana. I know his mom and could ask her to ask him 
about it.  I guess you would pray toward earth if to Jerusalem.  He 
was featured in Shofar Magazine several years ago and had taken a 
mezuzah into space.  I don't think he will have a minyan in space 
though
