Adrian, forgive me for posting this on the list. For some quirky reason, or perhaps a wrong address, I cannot successfuly send mail to you personally. I have just received a virus-laden message purportedly from "hanashir" (lower case) with Garden of Eden in the subject line (no Hanashir number). I managed to delete it and avoid getting the "klez" virus. In case it is going around, I thought it worth mentioning. Due to a barrage of virus attempts and an aging and slow computer, I have to reluctantly unsubscribe from the list. I hope to resubscribe soon on a new computer. Can you post the instructions once more?
Many thanks,

Hi Rachelle.

First of all, the Klez virus you got was most likely *not* from the Hanashir list (that's why there was no Hanashir numbers). The way the Klez virus works is that it replicates itself, sending out to various people on someone's mailing list *and* using *other* random entries from the mailing list in the "From:" field. In your case, what most likely happened is that the virus came from someone who has both you and Hanashir in their address book -- making it _seem_ like it came from Hanashir.

I hope this helps.
