Linda Hirshhorn has a beautiful setting for a text for Rosh Hodesh (words by 
Marcia Falk) that begins with the words "Or Chadash."  With Linda's 
blessing, I adapted it to the liturgical "Or Chadash" found before the Shma. 
You can hear the song on Linda's "Behold" album, and the sheet music is also 
available (both through jewishmusic.com).

The way I adapted the words are as follows:

Or chadash al tziyon ta'ir
Al tziyon ta'ir
V'nizkeh chulanu
V'nizkeh chulanu
M'hera l'oro
