The Shema that is usually referred to as "Traditional"
is by Lewandowski and is indeed in 3/4 time. This piece
is, together with Lewandowski's "Traditional" Kiddush,
probably his best known and most popular composition.

The Shema by Sulzer is also in 3/4 time, but is quite
monotonic.
