Not only does it use Hebrew words, but in the closing verse Jews are marked as 
"the people who would not hear" (obviously about Jesus).

This is an Amy Grant song - someone who came from Christian pop and went 
mainstream pop.  

It is hard for Christians to understand that the infectious spirit we have for 
Jewish music has nothing to do with their frame of reference - but they do 
catch the infectious spirit and can mis-take it for something else.
