With all this sharing going on BEFORE Hava Nashira, it's certainly going to
be a great one!  I'm sorry that I'll miss it.  You've all been a terrific
source of joy in my life - I'd love to meet you all in person.

What I would like to share is that after 2 years of fighting lyme disease, I
can actually play my guitar for 15 minutes without pain killers!!  I was
thrilled to actually be able to get through 4 songs last night without
stopping, and can't wait now to dive back into my music.  I won't be joining
you all at Hava Nashira, but I look forward to listening to ALL of Barbara
Stambler's recordings when she gets back!  (Pull out that Calendar Barbara!)
Without my music this past year, I've focused on writing.  It's been a great
release when I was in too much pain to play...

Now, something I wrote this morning after tending my garden...

Return my soul to Peace, O Gatherer of Life.
Allow me this Shabbat to feel serenity.

To bask in the glow of a beautiful sunrise -
To leave the world of day to day,
Entering a new room - A room of splender and love.
Where life is lived to it's fullest,
By doing nothing at all.


May you all have a peaceful pre-Hava Nashira Shabbat, and get enough rest so
you can stay up for ALL of next week!  We can't wait to hear all about it!
