[HANASHIR:11583] Mifgash

Dear Friends,
        While i will be at HN (God-willing) next week, I went to Mifgash 
Musicale in Cincinnati, the Commission on Synagogue Music's workshop for 
Temple singers and musicians to review worship music.  Last year, we focused 
on High Holy Day music.  It was a great review and I learned a lot that I was 
able to use last fall.  If you sing for you congregation's services, I would 
HIGHLY recommend it.  I also liked the camaraderie of 35 people there, and it 
was great to be back at my rabbinic school campus.  
         So, that's it - probably one of several postings to clarify the 
nature of Mifgash.  I look forward to seeing many of you next week at OSRUI!
