[HANASHIR:11369] Re:Muslim Peace Songs

Hi All,
    I just heard from the woman who does the Muslim kids choir in Cedar
Rapids and she tells me there are quite a few peace songs in English. She
thought that the best one or the one that will probably work the best is
called  A Whisper of Peace, by
Dawud Wharnsby Ali.  She suggested visiting the soundvision.com website.(
A Muslim web site.)  I found the site interesting and not entirely as
vitriolic as some others I have seen.  I will listen and let you all know
what I think. By the way, Dawud Wharnsby Ali has made several CDs with
Yusef Islam.  Remember him? ( Cat Stevens)
