Sorry, I sent the message before I added my signature and remarks about my 
own involvement as an Israeli artist - with friends and family all over the 
country, ( brother and his kids and grandchildren, ex-husband and in-laws 
etc) as I struggle with my own ambivalent feelings, never losing sight of the 
fact that I am certainly pro-Israeli and want us all to live in peace - k'am 
hofshi b'artzenu - b'shalom. At this point I can only sing my heart out from 
my safe havens in Canada and California.
This is a day of rememberance - and somehow we have to also find our humanity 
- not lose it as we grieve.
