Rachelle,
We have a great Purim song for adults : SHUSHAN BLUES. It's set to a blues
mode and is very user friendly. You can have a lot of fun with it. Let us
know if you're interested and give us your fax number. We'll get it to you
asap.
THX!

Since most of the Purim songs I know are geared to children, I am having to
pad my adult program with non-Purim songs that might fit. I am particularly
interested to know of any well-known Purim songs which might have escaped my
attention over the years. There will be a bar and some merry-making going on,
so I would like to keep it light.
For those interested, so far I am considering:
You Can Change the World (J. Klepper/D/ Rossoff) - my favourite Purim song
Utsu Etsa
Chag Purim
Lay'hudim (Marshall Portnoy)
A few parodies I will dare congregants to come up and sing
Other lively Non-Purim Songs I think might fit:
Am Yisrael Chai (Carlebach)
Al Hanisim (Carlebach)
Ki Va Mo-ed (Carlebach)
Various lively nigunim
Lo Alecha (Klepper/Freelander)
Chag Same-ach (trad.)
Kumi Ori (Hadar)
Od Yishama (Carlebach)
Thanks,
Rachelle Shubert
