[HANASHIR:10892] Re: Specific Song Search

Roberta,
This is wonderful!! How ironic if it's true that you got it from a workshop
that I gave!!!!
A thousand thanks.
Don

Dear Don,

Pesach starts the year in Nissan
Lag B'Omer in the month of Iyar
Shavuoth in the month of Sivan
Tammuz says that summer's here.
On Tisha B'Av we lost the Temple
After Elul, we will see
The Holy Days will soon be coming,
Starting the month of Tishri
Rosh HaShana, on the first day,
Yom Kipppur on number ten
Sukkot comes upon the fifteenth
Simcaht Torah follows then.
Fall brings Cheshvan, we get ready
Chanukah, the Feast of Lights
Comes in Kislev; now it's winter
Tevet brings up longer nights.
Sh'vat in Israel is for planting
Tu Bishvat is the date
And in Adar, on the fourteenth,
Purim tells of Haman's fate.

These are many of our holidays
That we love to celebrate
Come along and soon you'll see that
Being Jewish is just great!

I believe I got this one from a workshop you gave!!!!!

Regards,

Roberta
