    While I agree totally with Brad Hyman about being careful about respecting
copyrights, quite often many synagogue musicians simply do not have the budgets
to purchase whole collections. The Cantors' Lifecycle manual is, of course, one
of the best things produced recently, but, it does cost $40.   If you will call
the individual composers and ask them if you can reproduce an individual piece
and what you want to use it for,  I have found that they are most gracious.  
Some
will give you a verbal OK even over the phone, some will send you an E mail and
some would like you to wait for them to put it in writing.  Just ask.  It really
