[HANASHIR:10723] Re: Mah Gadlu

Rachelle,

I don't know Shefa Gold's rendition, but the phrase "Ma Gadlu" is from the
Psalm for Shabbat (Mizmor Shir L'yom Hashabat) - 92? - and is traditionally
done on both Friday night, during Kabalat Shabbat, and Saturday morning,
during Psukey D'zimra.

Happy 15th of Shvat,`
Andy

I would like to use Shefa Gold's Mah Gadlu (Halleluyah, Halluyah) with my
adult volunteer choir. Trouble is, we only sing Friday nights. Has anyone
used this song in this context and if so, where in the service have you fit
it in?

Thanks,
Rachelle Shubert
