Concerning Jewish Music Month.  
Back in the "old days," the Jewish Music Council determined that it began on 
Shabbat Shirah (this Shabbat) and ran one month (usually ending on Purim, 
except in leap years).  
Sometime in the 80's, it became Jewish Music Season.  Still beginning on 
Shabbat Shirah, but now ending at Pesach.
