[HANASHIR:10603] Re: Teaching Hebrew through songs

If I may be so bold to put in a plug for something I was involved in, I
highly recommend "Hebrew In Song" - cd, music and teacher manual and cassette
all available through Soundswrite, Tara and Amazon.com. The melodies are
catchy and upbeat and they deal with subjects like seasons, foods, holidays,
clothing and community performances. The project was truly a labor of love
written by Ronit Ben-Arie and I am proud to have served as a musician, and
vocalist on the cd. I teach in a large Day School and we use these songs all
of the time. They are well received by both staff and students. The booklet
also contains dance, movement and art projects for each song.
