[HANASHIR:10493] RE: VIRUS ALERT

Winston, et al:

The system hosting the Hanashir list, Shamash, takes great pains to
prevent spam, virus attacks and other problems. The message you received
did not come from the list. I checked and rechecked the archives, and no
such message was ever sent out by the List Processor to this list. When
Shirona's computer got infected, it sent out e-mails to everyone in her
adderss book (I got one too) but it was not through the list. When
Hanashir receives any suspicious messages (which does ocassionally
happened) I am notified automatically, and the message is not
promulgated to the list unless I approve it. The system also
automatically rejects certain postings with known words in the subject
line, known spammer addresses, and spurious attachments.
