Correction - From A Distance was written by a nice Jewish girl -- Julie
Gold - who happens to be my cousin.  Great song.

There are also lots of other songs by Jewish composers.  Fran Avni has one
about peace called Down in the Garden.  It is an echo song, so everyone can
easily join in.  Steve Dropkin's Let Us Rejoice is all in English and could
be effective here.  Steve also has a new CD out called Inner Peace and
almost every song on that album would be appropriate - especially Heal Our
World and We All Stand Together.  I also love Peter and Ellen's new song
Count Your Blessings.  It is terrific and has a wonderful message.  You can
