Ditto Fran. Though I'm not as familiar with Nancy Schimmel's music, I do 
know and love her mother's music. Malvina Reynolds is a treasure and her
music is definitely worth getting to know. Magic Penny, the song you were
discussing is terrific and should be in everyone's repertoire! I think you
can find the lyrics in Rise Up Singing (also a great book). The chorus is:

Love is something if you give it away, give it away, give it away
Love is something if you give it away, you end up having more.
