Any of you folks out there do any part writing for klezmer band? I've dabbled
a lot, and it's always great but it's been a while. Question: Is the key of
D minor decent for tmb? This kid is excellent and can handle anything. She
would be playing mostly from D below middle C to first space F or second line
G. Thanks.

Subject: [HANASHIR:10420] Re: tzedakah songs
There is a cute Tzedakah song on Myrna Cohen's recording SWINGING CHAI -
TZEDAKAH
Music and lyrics by George Fogelman
Tzedakah, tzedakah, when you give tzedakah
You give to someone who has less than you.
Tzedakah, tzedakah, when you give tzedakah
It will feel right cause it’s the Jewish thing to do.
So give tzedakah every day if you can,
When you can give tzedakah.
Tzedakah, tzedakah, we must give tzedakah.
It is the Jewish way to help someone every day.
Tzedakah, tzedakah, when you give tzedakah
You’re giving from the heart, now is the time to start to
Give tzedakah every day if you can,
When you can give tzedakah.
Tzedakah is food, clothes or money
You give to someone who needs it more than you.
It’s the time you spend helping your neighbor.
It’s what we are commanded to do!
Tzedakah, tzedakah, we must give tzedakah.
It is the Jewish way to help someone on their way.
So give tzedakah every day if you can,
When you can give tzedakah.
Tzedakah is the perfect way of giving.
Sharing is showing that you care.
Tzedakah is our way of living.
Helping people everywhere.
Tzedakah, tzedakah, we must give tzedakah.
It is the Jewish way to help someone every day.
So give tzedakah every day if you can,
When you can give tzedakah.
