The song, "Magic Penny" was written by Melvina Reynolds written in 1955.  The 
copyright's held by Northern Music Corp.  It's in a book called "Little Boxes 
and Other Homemade Songs."  by Melvina.  The book I have was printed in 1964 
by Oak Publications, 165 W. 46th St., NY,NY.  This is probably all great 
information except I have no idea if it's still available.  If you can't find 
it, let me know.  

It's a cute song.  There's also "Eight Candles" and some other wonderful 
songs in the book.
