[HANASHIR:10406] Chironomy and Gesturing

I found the source of the news report on gesturing. The article appears in
the November (?) issue of the journal "Psychological Science".

As summarized in The Boston Globe: "The scientists [from the U. of Chicago]
tested children and adults on their recall of a memorized list of words and
numbers. Volunteers were asked to recall that list while simultaneously
explaining an unrelated math problem. People who gestured their way through
the math did much better on the memory test than those who were told to keep
their hands still - and researchers posit that concentrating on *not*
gesturing may tax the brain and diminish recall."

Anybody have that issue of "Psychological Science"? :->
