[HANASHIR:10207] Nephew's Bar Mitzvah

Dear Friends,
Fist, I have to tell you that Carol Boyd Leon sent me a copy of the song, YOU 
ARE MY CHILD, that she sang at her son's Bar Mitzvah. It is so beautiful and 
perfect to sing at your child's Bar/Bat Mitzvah. I urge you all to get a copy 
of it. 

I was invited to sing the opening song at my nephew's bar mitzvah next week 
in Boston. The Cantor said it could have a Bar Mitzvah theme to it - rather 
than the usual Mah Tovu, Tov L'Hodot, etc. Of course there are the obvious 
YOUTH SHALL SEE VISIONS, L'CHI LACH, B'TI, B'NI but I'd like something that 
welcomes the service as well. I hope I am making sense and someone has a 
great idea! Also, the mother is not Jewish so at least half the people there 
won't be Jewish. Therefore I'd like it to have some English lyrics.
