[HANASHIR:10159] Re: music for healing

Rachelle,
We had a very successful healing service on Yom Kippur afternoon. We used a
service booklet with reading and prayers, then the rabbi passed out a sheet
that listed about 30 different prayers to God asking for healing. Some asked
for physical healing, spiritual healing, healing of another, healing of a
people, etc. The rabbi had us read them to ourselves and then asked us to
point out which was most meaningful to us and why. It was a vehicle for
people to open up and worked very well.
Some of the music we used was BYADO (Taubman), ANGELS'S BLESSING (Friedman),
DON'T HIDE YOUR FACE (Friedman), ROSE IN DECEMBER (Cotler), HEAL US AND WE
SHALL BE HEALED (Nelson). We opened the service with a Niggun and KOL
HANESHAMA and closed with T'FILAT HADERACH (Friedman).
