[HANASHIR:10137] Re: music for healing

Many of the Healing Services I"ve attended have been disappointing. I
think there is often a tendency to over-manage the people who come --
follow this guided imagery, say this, do that -- and they often feel
jerky, like no one thinks about how hard it is to re-enter the world of
relationships when one has been meditating or praying.

The best advice I can give is think about the flow of the program --
niggunim or chanting flow to readings flow to guided imagery/meditation
flow to sharing flow to exchange of blessings flow to an upbeat song
that is full of hope. I hope this helps -- Marge Eiseman

P.S. Of course, I can recommend songs, but that is secondary to
designing this well. Good luck!
