Depends on what you mean by "non [sic] too expensive".

I was cantoring erev Rosh Hashana in Columbia, MO.  The congregation/Hillel
there uses a church on the HH aravim services because their sanctuary is
too small.  Unfortunately, no one had the key to the room with the PA
mixer, so we were without amplification.  I just happened to have a
microphone and my Fender Acoustasonic 30 amp with me, so that little amp,
of necessity, served as our PA.  Even in a big room with 300-400 people, it
did the job, and people said it sounded fine.

The amp is designed for acoustic guitar, but it also has a microphone
input.  30 watts into one 8" speaker with a piezo tweeter, light enough to
be carried in one hand, and tilts back if desired.  $310 new.
