[HANASHIR:9811] Re: prayers for the victims

Chevre" I am writing to you from Paris. My husband and I took vacation and
were supposed to come home on Wednesday. We are obviously stuck in Paris and
cannot get any flights out back to the States. Worst part is that my son is at
NYU and my daughter at Columbia and we had no idea whether they were ok for a
while. Well, thank Gd they are both in shock, but dealing and surviving.
It's horrible to be here and not with one's children during such a horrific
time. My son saw the Towers burning and my daughter says the air smells like
papers, hair and bodies today; just awful for them.

Do any of you know of any liberal synagogues in Paris becuase I fear we will
not be home for Rosh Hashana. THanks so much.
Love,
Meris

It's notated in the Kol B'seder Songbook (Tara) and chorded in NFTY's
Shireinu. Also Transcontinental (at UAHC 1 800-455-5223) has a choral
octavo version with chords. Recordings are on In Every Generation and Yom
Chadash.

My heart goes out to all who are dealing first hand with the aftermath of
this awful tragedy. Ad'nai oz l'amo yitein.

Jeff
