Callie pointed out to me that some browsers couldn't open the mp3 file I 
posted. The problem was Verizon's server software, which I can't fix, so I 
set up a better website at:

   http://www.geocities.com/shireinu

You can download my tune, "Words of My Mouth," from there. 

I'd also like to post more original songs by other members of the HN
community.  Songwriters, please send me sound files with your original
songs, or links to other web locations where your songs are posted. I will
put them all on this site. 

Please keep the size of each sound file under 600K if possible as the total 
storage space is only 15MB. This will allow about 25 songs to be posted.

On the website I've also attached instructions on how to use "Sound
Recorder"  software under Windows to create an mp3 file at home--
*without* purchasing any special hardware or software. The results are not
professional in sound quality but can be surprisingly good.
