[HANASHIR:9349] Re: Passover and Chanukah NOW??

Thx for the response and support. We've have used this song with very young
children at Temple Shalom in Dallas. Of course, they've needed some assistance
with singing the verses. But that's the norm for most pre-schoolers and soem
primary grade children. As a matter of fact, one of my current youth choir
members, now 7 yrs old, learned WE ARE ALL CANDLES when he was just turning 4.
His older sister was in my Youth Choir at Temple Shalom. He learned it by
rote from just listening to her singing along with her practice tape. He did
such a great job, we included him in our childrens choir on our recording. So,
don't sell those little ones short. They just might surprise you as our little
guy and several others have. Thx again for your acknowledgement and words of
support.

I've used with youth choirs all year 'round! They
do love it. The verses deal with tikkun olam, too. I think it's a bit old
for nursery school, however.
