[HANASHIR:9347] Re: Fw: Do you qualify to sing the Blues?

Adrian and all,

I actually did this for another list serv I am a member of. I asked that
everyone who wanted to be included send their name, e-mail and the state where
they reside to me. I compiled all of this and posted it to the main web site
in a "secret" way. There is an icon at the bottom of the site that is linked
to this info. No words, just a picture and most people might not ever click on
it. But for those of us who are members, we know that by clicking on the icon,
it will bring us to a list of all those on the list serv who choose to be
identified. Maybe we could compromise and do it this way so it is not so
blatantly out there.

Now-speaking as list owner-was it really necessary to post that to the list
publicly? Some might say yes, some no. I personally think it's better to keep
such traffic off the list. However-this has given me an idea. Is there any
interest on this list of creating a page on the website which contains a
listing of the emails of all subscribers (except those who chose to "opt out")
plus some additional useful emails for people not on the list? There are huge
issues of privacy here, so let's banter this about a bit.
