[HANASHIR:9167] Re: Self-taught trope

Dear Micah,

If you go to the Transcontinental Music website www.etranscon.com or email
tmp (at) uahc(dot)org you will find a recent publication by Cantors Wolff and
Portnoy which is wonderful. It should be all you need to be off and
chanting. However, if you would like help getting started, you run into
obstacles or have questions as you are learning, please feel free to contact
me privately -- I would consider it a mitzvah to be of help.

B'shalom,
Sharon Steinberg

Shalom everyone,

Are there materials out there that one can use to teach oneself how to chant
Torah trope? Maybe a tape or series of tapes? Anything that has worked
especially well for any of you.

Thanks a lot,
Micah Streiffer
