Hey All,
So Pizmon (Columbia/JTS Jewish A Cappella) is finishing up Pizmon 5
(tentatively named B'sofo Shel Hayom) and all that is left to record is my
solo. The song, loosely based around "Minnie the Moocher" by Cab Caloway
(you may know it from the critically acclaimed Blues Brothers movie) needs
that gritty Hidee Hidee Hi tone. While I am a Bass with Baritone-ish
tendencies, I need to get rid of any hint O' nasalness. Help! I come to
you, oh professional singer/songleaders for advice. If you could offer any
advice for voice placement so any hint O' nasalocity will be gone I'd be much
obliged. Please e-mail me privately and look for Pizmon 5 in 1 - 2 months.
Enjoy HN.
